After a few months of using this foundation, I've proclaimed it as a holy grail and decided that you all need to know how wonderful it is. I'm normally a die hard Lancome Teint Idole Ultra fan, so to find something that oversteps that level after years of falling back to Lancome, is really quite the feat. I picked this foundation up on a whim in the airport, because, 'holiday spending money' doesn't count, right? Since then, its become my go-to every single day.
The texture reminds me of Lancome Miracle Touch which I wasn't really a fan of, and as a result I was pretty sure there was no way this foundation was going to give me the coverage I need. Not with one layer anyway. Well, I was wrong, and somehow with the thinnest layer this foundation provides a really clean, smooth, almost poreless finish, even without primer. It feels light and natural, and is very buildable, but as someone with acne scarring, I can say it covers really well, without the Double Wear 'doll' look.
The finish is matte, but without being flat, and gives the 'velvet skin' finish that I, for one, love. My skin is firmly combination, but if you do have very dry skin, you'd probably want to try a sample of this foundation before you drop a whopping £35 on it!
