Over the last few years, I've developed a nose for the more sophisticated scent, something that a supermarket brand like Airwick has never been able to satisfy with its like sickly artificial scents and dust gathering. My love for expensive candles and reed diffusers has had to stop though, whilst we're saving for a house deposit and a wedding, but I still like the place to smell half decent - I live with 3 boys and a dog, its impossible to keep on top of, so a purse friendly alternative is appreciated, and I'm especially glad to say that Airwick have improved vastly!
My favourite of the lot is this reed diffuser. I have the scent 'purple blackberry fig,' and its a lot less synthetic than I remember Airwick scents being. I couldn't say it smells exactly like blackberries and figs, but thats by no doubt a hindrance, because it smells delicious, and it lasts just as long as those four times the price. It also reminds me of bubble tea, and of course, I couldn't resist squishing one of the balls to see what its like. I'm known to do this with Guerlain meteorites and similar products too - Its far too tempting!
I'm also a fan of the gel 'crystal air.' Now, I'm not usually a fan of this type of air freshener. They remind me of the horrible pine gel 'fresheners' that would sit in the work toilet collecting dust and germs. This seems to kick a lot more scent though, and is actually pretty decent looking - and the scent range is nice and refreshing (even if the Natural Parks range are all quite similar somehow).
Don't take my word for it though - These are often on offer in Supermarkets, and Airwick have given me one of the reed diffusers to giveaway to one of you lovely lot, too! There are no compulsory options, so just pick one (or two, or however many you want) and good luck!
