Whenever I'm lusting over handbags, they always end up having to be black. My attention often turns to bright orange numbers or a gorgeous nude colour, but when it comes to crunch, I always settle on black. This textured one in particular is like a tardis, well packed with pockets and finished with a zip (I'm fussy - this is good). I wouldn't say I'm chickening out, I would just say that a black bag goes with absolutely anything, and no matter how colourful or wacky an outfit is, black shoes and a bag just tone everything down to a sophisticated level, I think.
Not that this is the brightest outfit anyway, but I do adore the colour of this new jacket which adds a bit of brightness to my staple of a dark palette. I seem to be obsessed with jackets and coats recently, and since I seem to have acquired an entire clothes rail full of jackets and coats, I think its about time I stopped there (yeah, right)! Underneath the jacket, is this Topshop dress, which, despite being made of thin, almost-see-through fabric, is super cosy and versatile. Just because of that, I will love it anyway, and teamed with the most comfortable boots EVER I can feel like a slob whilst looking half alive. Oh yeah!
