What I Wore // F&F Party Wear

Dress - F&F @ Tesco
Tights - Primark
Shoes - Clarks

Seeing as most of my festive parties this year are with mine and Dans families, I've been looking for something a little more demure and appropriate to avoid questionable looks from Dans grandparents - No low cut sequins here, not just yet. Unfortunately most 'party dresses' in my wardrobe aren't fitting with the 'I'm mature and sophisticated!' vibe, so I was glad that Tescos, of all places, came to my rescue.

I don't know why I'm surprised, my favourite jeans are from Tescos, and I have a few other items from there that I still wear and love, but this dress is something else, and I chose it as party wear because whilst its not super glitsy, its both flattering, and colourful - Perfect for family gatherings really! Its gathered at the waist to hide unsightly bumps, alongside with the bump-distracting bright autumn print, and I know it'd look a million times better with simple black heels and maybe a dainty necklace. The pictures really don't do this dress justice, but I did receive multiple compliments on this occasion, so I guess its mission accomplished!

What parties are you heading to this year?

  6. Floral is always a win for me. I have only tried Tesco nightwear and I am quite happy with them, maybe it's time I tried something else next time I am in
