I'm sure I stand apart from the crowd as I state this, but shopping for gifts has to be one of my favourite festive things to do in the build up to Christmas. Theres something satisfying about finally finding the perfect gift, although I almost always end up buying a tonne of other 'token' stuff that I see afterwards up until Christmas. I've recently discovered that I am a bit of a failure shopping the high street though, as I end up buying more for myself, so I'm doing the rest online where it should be easier to avoid temptation (we'll see).

Men are definitely difficult to buy for, I always struggle with Dan, my brothers and my Dad, but I've actually already bought a few of these items! With Dan being a photographer, we have so many of these lens mugs floating around our flat, but the more the merrier I say, its a great idea! I know Dan would love this bar sign, from Home wet bar. I also love this Man Cave version, it would be so perfect for his office alongside the clock from Gizoo (which I actually want for myself - This anti-temptation isn't really working).

I've wrapped all my presents and I'm ready to go now, although I keep buying sneaky little stocking fillers here and there. I can't wait for Christmas! My family tend to make an event of it all (well who doesn't), and we've been known to dress up for Christmas day, just for a bit of fun, so I might run the party planner app past them, although I know for sure my dad already has his Rudolph costume prepped and ready. It allows you to create an event via Facebook, select a theme and choose a costume from the site too, if you're that way inclined!

What gifts are you buying this Christmas?
What are you going to get up to?

  6. Oooh, the scarf is lovely! I want that for myself! I never think to look in River Island, the stores near me don't seem to be very good, they stock a lot of party/club wear but not much of the regular daywear that is available on the website. I reeeeaaaally want that tartan scarf though!!!! xxx
