Don't Forget Your Hands // Hydrate, Nourish, and Protect with Carex Hand Creams

Carex Hand Creams £2.50*

Working in a hospital, I'm washing my hands almost constantly and using alcohol gel twice as often, too. You can imagine that my hands are prone to getting dry, and sometimes they'll feel a little unloved. There are now hand cream dispensers on the ward, but the contents are sticky and oily - Not ideal when I'm rushing around to see my next patient, so I tend not to bother with it.

This Carex stuff, is different. My previous hand cream of choice came all the way from South Africa in multiples, but even that sat in my locker to use at lunchtime and at the end of the day, as it took a while to soak in. This hand cream is light in texture, soaks instantly and leaves no residue, just a nice hydrated feeling and a subtle scent. Not the most exciting product to review perhaps, but we take so much time to pamper our faces, yet the area that is equally as exposed if not more, is often ignored. It comes infused with either Aloe Vera or Vitamin E (my favourite scent), and boasts an antibacterial quality too! And its so, so much nicer than the drying gel or foam thats dotted around the wards. I still use the gel and foam, but this is more often followed.

Carex sent me quite a few of these, so I shared them amongst the Therapy staff I work with, and they're now dotted around the hospital, still being used and appreciated weeks later.
Definitely one to pop in the bag and make the most of, especially at that price - I just wish the packaging was more exciting!

Whats your favourite hand cream

  2. I've always got handcream with me. In my bag, on my bedside, on my desk at work. You should take care of your hands! They show your age!
