Dress - ChiChi*

The moment this dress arrived I knew it'd be perfect for my holiday. The coral colour, the back design and the gorgeous beading details... It even has moulded cups built in, and an elasticated panel for a perfect fit, hello low maintenance!

Dress - New Look
Jelly Shoes - Tesco

I love this dress so much, and this is the first time I've ever worn it! For some reason I've always thought it was a bit risqué to wear at home, waiting for the right night out, but now I realise it needs as much exposure as possible, and actually, it covers all the right bits!

I always feel like if anything, its better to be overdressed than underdressed, and my successful attempts at packing light for this holiday left me feeling seriously underdressed and wishing I'd taken something bigger than the smallest suitcase available, complete with heels, a bigger variety of clothes and some swanky jewellery. We stayed in a 5* hotel as a treat, and we were half board so ate dinner in the hotel most nights. We weren't even allowed to eat in two out of the three restaurants due to a strict dress code that we weren't told about when booking (Thanks for that, Thomson), but even eating in the outside Italian buffet restaurant, most people dressed appropriately for weddings which was a little odd even if we were beneath the stars and in the company of a violinist/guitarist or accordion player every night.

Thats when its time to ignore those around you and have fun regardless, which we did. The hotel was divine and I'm missing being waited on hand and foot for expensive cocktails and milkshakes, but we're just not classy people. We were invited to a cocktail evening by the pool to celebrate the hotels birthday, and we went purely to nab as many free gin cocktails and champagnes as we could where coincidently we met a few like minded couples who ended up getting drunk with us, tally-ho! You'd do the same, right?

You can see my daytime outfits here.
Are you off on holiday this year?

  10. Haven't been on your blog for awhile and only just noticed your hair - it looks amazing...! So unfair how some people suit being both blonde and brunette...always fancied going bottle blonde but every single person I've ever asked has told me not too.

ANYWAY. Got well excited just now because I thought we had the same hot pink dress, but mine is from ASOS. It's almost a dead ringer though from the front! Love the colour, I like to wear mine with a yellow belt and pretend I'm a Battenberg cake.
