Chanel Soleil Tan De Chanel £31
I finally caved in and bought the Chanel bronzer. The packaging is luxurious albeit a little chunky (it doesn't fit in my Muji drawers), and so the amount enclosed looks stingy. Having said that, I've been using this for a month or two now and haven't even made a dent yet! This product has a thick, creamy, almost-mousse like texture and dries to a matte finish that lasts well even on my oily skin.
When I took these pictures it almost had an orange tinge as you can see, so I had to be incredibly light handed with it, so I've only used a tiny bit per application. Considering there is 30g of product in the tub, I think we'll have a long and fruitful friendship
It definitely looks better on me now that I have a tan, so it will probably suit darker skin tones more than the paleys unless you're light handed like I have to be! I was actually advised to use it as a base, but if I'm looking for a general glow I prefer to use Clarins tanning primer, and instead apply this with my Real Techniques contour brush, across the areas that are naturally sun kissed after foundation, or even before!
Have you tried this? What do you think?
