Perricone 'No Foundation Foundation' £47*
It is strange how Perricone decided only to release this in one, single shade, and I failed to decipher how this warm shade could possibly suit the range of skin tones out there. If there is anyone this wasn't going to match, its me, Little Miss Pale.
Surprisingly, although it gives an orange tinge at first, it settles into a sheer skin tint that is subtle, and thankfully, not orange, though not a perfect match either. It does take a while to settle though, and it feels quite tacky for the first half an hour too. Its super easy to apply with fingers, though you need to work fast as its quite thick! I wore this all day and it lasted pretty well, with no sign of obvious oil, whilst maintaining a natural, dewy look.
However, my skin is blemished and scarred, and I really feel as though I need a decent coverage, beyond fine lines, before I dare bare my face to the world. The coverage of this is lighter than any foundation I've ever used - Its more of a tinted moisturiser. Perhaps even more sheer than that...
If your skin is relatively clear, and you're looking for something guilt-free to gently even out your skin tone, you could well love this!
For me, this is a dream to use on holiday, where I'm not too bothered about lots of coverage and I'll have a bit of colour. The small bottle with a handy pump, the 30 second finger application, and the SPF 30, perfect for the beach bag.
It comes at quite a price at £47 for 30ml, but a very small amount goes a long way - If you've used this you must let me know what you think - I'm on the fence!
