I'm not 100% decided on what I'm doing this New Years, I always find pubs and clubs overcrowded and overpriced, and often the excitement and build up to the night is often overdone and expectations are too high. Whatever I'm doing though, its a good excuse to dress up, and as long as I'm with the people I love, I'm happy.
It should be a rule that New Years outfits include sparkle. Here is something I could be wearing, and its in line with that unwritten rule I think! I don't often wear figure hugging dresses anymore, and I should feel self conscious, but the ruching on this dress covers up any lumps and bumps and adds texture. It has soft moulded cups so you don't even need to wear a bra and the material is uber stretchy so it doesn't fall down either - And theres room to breathe. The quality is great, very impressed with this dress. The whole Chi Chi site is full of what me and my girlfriends would call 'Operation Knockout' dresses.
I've paired it with my nans bracelet and these killer heels from Barratts - I've been prancing around the flat in them, practicing my stride. I've wanted metallic shoes for ages, and these are a soft cracked silver/grey. I'm not used to heels this high, but the platform does help (and they're comfortable around the toes which is usually where shoes lose points for me), and I just love the magic that a high heel can work on legs!
