What I Wore // Lady in blue

dress-outfit

Dress - Glamorous*
Shoes - F&F Tesco
Bracelet - Thomas Sabo
Rings - Tack shop/Thomas Sabo

I was actually sent this gorgeous dress a few months ago but never had the chance to wear it. Recently though, Dans awesome photography services were hired for a charity 'Care Awards' event that my best friend organised for work. I went along to help out encouraging people to get their photos taken in the 'photobooth' and to take some pictures of the actual event myself.
You may have seen me fretting on Twitter, wondering what to wear. I love this dress but didn't know if it was too dressy for someone who is meant to be 'working,' and the silver shoes I ordered to go with it hadn't arrived! I decided to get stuck in and enjoy myself rather than going for the trusty black sparkle-fest.

I actually got my hair dyed today at my all time favourite salon. I've been going there for 5 years or so now and when I found my favourite hairdresser I stuck with her. My hair is now a darker auburn brown, a change I've been wanting to go for for ages, but the darkest my hair has ever been is the natural mousy brown/blonde it is. I'm in love with it! I have a couple of outfit posts lined up with the blonde hair, I'll try and get them out within the next few days!

Also, I feel really bad about this - I only recently found out that tipping hairdressers is a 'done thing.' Has everyone else known and done this all along?
I also had a lovely beauty therapist offer to file and paint my nails for free too and she did an awesome job! - Would've tipped her too if I didn't have wet nails, couldn't get into my bag, eek!
