Liz Earle Signature Foundation £21*
Up until now, there have always been two staple foundations in my make up bag - Now there is three. The aforementioned two are Estee Lauders Double Wear Max, for its matte finish and industrial coverage, and Lancomes Teint Idole Ultra for its natural finish and awesome colour match. I'd describe this foundation as a perfect mix of the two.
Liz Earle's Signature foundation has a matte finish similar to double wear, and a medium coverage, somewhere inbetween the two comparable foundations. Its easy to apply and has a long lasting coverage. Because of its matte finish however, I would say you need to make sure your skin is well moisturised before applying, and a primer really makes a difference too. I also find that it looks best after waiting for a few minutes to let it 'melt' onto the skin a little as it warms. Powder isn't needed so you're good to go from there really!
The colour match is also spot on. I usually go for warm toned foundations as I'm usually so pale - to the point where my mum asks if I'm feeling okay when she see's me without any make up.
I'd say the skin on my face is actually lighter than the skin on my body, (I blame spf), so I tend to colour match foundation to my décolletage rather than my chin. In the photos though, I'm wearing 01 which is the palest foundation I've ever used, and I can't believe how naturally it blends into my skin without showing how pale I really am. If you're pale and have ever struggled to find a foundation that actually flatters you, try this, and I promise you won't be disappointed!
