Liz Earle Cream Blush in 02 Blossom £16.50*

I've used Topshop cream blush before and didn't think much of them. They didn't last long on my cheeks, and the colours seemed to slide off of my combination skin often before noon. I was sceptical about trying cream blush again but when this cream blush appeared in the post I was excited to try it - I love everything I've tried from Liz Earle so was hoping this change my opinion on cream blushes - Well, it has!

The packaging is sleek and simple. Whilst the style and colour range might not catch my eyes in the beauty department I think the design remains true to that of the overall Liz Earle brand image and I've come to adore the fuss free style. The one thing that really 'caught' me was how small the blush packaging was - Its incredibly dainty and hardly takes up any space in my cramped acrylic drawers in which I store my make up. Theres an excuse to collect more if ever I needed one!

The consistency is gorgeous, velvety and applies like a dream with no streaks and a dewy and incredibly natural finish. Its very easy to apply - I tend to use a stippling brush but it works perfectly well just to use fingers, So its great to pop in your make up bag if you're going away. Not only is it tiny, but there is really no need to take a brush with you! All in all, the blush does exactly what it says on the box, provides a healthy looking glow that is soft, fresh, and definitely worth picking up.
It also doubles up as a matte lip tint and works well in the eye socket crease to add a touch of dimension (something I wouldn't have thought of trying without the suggestions from the included leaflet)
And the lasting power - Well thats the final grace. It lasts so much longer than I expected it to, and though it doesn't last as long as my favourite powder blushes, the finish is so admirable that I may actually favour it!

Have you tried anything from the Liz Earle colour range yet - What are your favourite products?
What do you think of cream blush in general?
