Hammonds lollipop - Strawberry Shortcake £4.29
How amazing is this traditional style lollipop? My lovely friends at Cybercandy popped it in the post for me to try and I'm in love! I have since decided that these would make gorgeous wedding favours but would make even better stocking fillers for those of any age! For some reason these lollipops remind me of Mary Poppins, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Willy Wonka... Perhaps its the traditional old-style packaging and the hint of an endearing history of the brand?
These aren't just a pretty lollipop either, they're unlike seaside rock lollipops which get messy and lose their flavour after a few licks - they're twisted and rolled by hand, sit upon a sturdy wooden stick, and taste 'truly scrumptious!'
