Fresh Melon, Blue Mint & Pistachio £4.10

Although I don't wear it often, there are two brands I turn to for nail polish - Models Own & Mavala. I've only ever seen Mavala in John Lewis, but they are definitely worth seeking out for their attractive colour range and cute 5ml dinky bottles meaning that for once, you're likely to use it up before it dries out. They have great consistency consistency, although two coats are definitely needed for these lighter shades (Only one is applied in the picture). The brush is pleasant to use and Mavala provide the longest lasting polish I've used.
My favourite of these three is definitely the Blue Mint - The perfect shade to layer underneath some white polka dots!

The best thing about Mavala though, is their base and top coat. After removing nail varnish, nails look healthy and and stronger than before, something I've never found in any other base coat. The top coat successfully keeps nail varnish vibrant and chip-free for over a week which is a result I'm more than happy with.

Have you tried Mavala?
Whats your favourite nail polish brand?
