I love it! // Caudalie Beauty Elixir

caudalie-beauty-elixir

Theres been a lot of talk about this product, mainly in magazines and through celebrity endorsement. Now, I'm not a believer of celebrity endorsements, in fact they usually put me off because, for example,
does Liv Tyler really use Pantene? I doubt it.
However, after becoming somewhat bored of my skincare routine, and reading several realistic reviews I decided to give this a go, and I bought it from Amazon with a gift card I had left over from Christmas.

Caudalie claim that this part serum-part toner Beauty Elixir brings illumination as well as closed pores, with its impressive organic ingredients. I've never found anything that has been successful at sorting out my pores, and didn't expect this to either, after all, they're pores not doors! Anyway, I've been using this product before moisturiser morning and night and whilst my pores still resemble pot holes, I love the refreshing cooling sensation which does seem to calm redness and rehydrate somewhat, which is great if like me, sleep is becoming a distant feature in life.

There is one extra beauty to this elixir though. It is, by far, the best thing I've ever used to set my make up. My skin has a temper and it doesn't often bode well with make up without primer, powder and occasional touch ups. I've been using two sprays of the elixir after applying foundation and before powder, and touch ups are mainly a thing of the past.

I'll be buying this again without a doubt!
Have you tried Caudalie's Beauty Elixir? What do you think of it?

  2. Hello,

As a french native, I know very well Caudalie. Some of their products are great but ...not all...
Would it be possible to have the product composition of this one to really see if this "eau de beaute" contains only effective ingredients (because at the end of the day, that what makes a product working :-))?

Thanks a lot ! great blog!

    1. Not a problem - I think its still quite a quiet brand and if the rest of the range is anything like this elixir, they're awesome! xx
