Tesco VIVO make up range // Face of the night

I was recently contacted by Kerry at VIVO with an offer to try some of the new range, and I was instantly excited to try a few products. The Barbara Daly collection at Tesco was admittedly looking seriously dated, so I reckon its a good move on Tescos' part to up their game on the trend scale.

I was sent a variety of products which I excitedly tried straight away when I got home from University as a 'touch up' to trial, and have been using them since to gather my conclusion on them. Below are a few pictures taken on my way out having used all of the above!

Eyes //
VIVO Green with Envy Palette
Barry M golden pencil (inner eye)
Barry M black pencil (waterline)
Lancome Hypnose Doll Eyes mascara
Eyebrows //
HD Brow kit
Face //
VIVO Undereye Concealer in Medium
VIVO Radiant Boost highlighter
Illamasqua Skin Base foundation
Lancome Color Ideal Poudre
VIVO blush in Rouge Shimmer
Lips //
VIVO Spiced Cinnamon lipstick

I adore the blusher, and think its a bargain for £5 as opposed to Macs' much higher priced comparable offering. The colour is subtle though highly pigmented and looks beautiful. I'm definitely after more if I can get my hands on them!

The under eye concealer I also love with its cooling roller-ball mechanism, but its just not enough coverage for me with my inherited dark circles. Its extremely light and doesn't crease, so if I didn't have such a major problem, I'd buy this again without a doubt.

The radiant boost highlighter has been compared to YSL's touche eclat, which I've never favoured over Lancomes version anyway, but I don't think the VIVO version is close to either products. Not because its rubbish, but because its a thicker formula with pink undertones. I played around with it and much prefer it as a concealer. I've used it lovingly around my nose, lips and blemishes, but prefer something with more shimmer and light for highlighting my brow arch and cheekbones.

The lipstick is simply amazing, for £2 I'll definitely be buying more. This shade was a pleasant surprise as I usually stick to lighter, pink shades, but I love this! It is easily transferred, though is not sticky in the slightest, and is probably best finished off with a slick of clear lipgloss in my opinion, just to avoid transfer.

The eye shadow palette is great for its heavy pigmentation and lasting power. However, I won't be buying more purely because I have so many palettes and pigments that my make up drawers are fit to burst, which for someone who rarely wears eye shadow is silly really! On the back of the palette is a simple 'how to' guide which I'm sure is added bonus for some people!

Have you tried VIVO yet? I'm desperate to get my hands on the concealing kit, more lipsticks, blushers and their mascaras! Phew!
